Corsair GS800 Loud Fan on boot/wake

Hi,

I just purchase the GS800 and it works great except that when turning on my computer or waking up the fan gets real loud for about 3 seconds and then turns off. Is this normal? If so, is there another Corsair PSU that does no make such a loud noise at start up such as the HX series? Thanks.
