Corsair Force 3

I've been using a Corsair Force 3 120GB drive in my early 2008 15" Macbook Pro since December. Up until yesterday, I was using Snow Leopard ( I have owned Lion since it was released but didn't like it initially ). With it not being an 'Apple SSD' trim was not enabled by default and thus I used the Trim Enabler application as shown on www.groths.org.

Here is the interesting thing, I have always experienced system freezes since day one, my drive has been on the latest firmware since purchase, where the system freezes for around 10 seconds. I am able to move the mouse but there is no activity other than that, no programs open and the system is unresponsive. Since upgrading to Lion, I haven't experienced a system freeze such as noted above. Does anyone have any idea what caused this?

Cheers, Josh.
