The release notes are as infuriating as owning the drive:

Due to NDA there is only 1 change log item available.

Here is to hoping it helps the people still using the drive with the stability issues.

Is Sandforce pretty much trash now? Anand didn't even mention them as a major player in his list of SSD companies.

Sandforce isn't an SSD company, they make controllers.

These batch of controllers seem to be trash nonetheless...on certain systems.

The problem is rolling the dice and finding out if you have one of those 'few certain systems'. I got VERY lucky that I bought my Force3 with my Amex gold. They took it back and reimbursed me through their Return Protection program, or else I would have been stuck with a drive that I couldn't use in any machine I have to rely upon to be stable.
