Just ordered 2 F120's and plan to run them in RAID0. I plan to use my IP35-pro's onboard Intel ICH9R controller for this, and I want this RAID0 array to replace my current Maxtor (platter) HDD as my OS boot drive.

I'm running Win7 x64, and I believe already in AHCI mode. I also have a RAID5 array consisting of 4 platter drives alread on this mobo.

What's the best order for doing this? The main part I'm not sure about is alignment issues when using SSD's in RAID. I've configured the partition offset for a single SSD before but I'm not sure if there is any special consideration for SSD's in RAID. My guess is that I can just create the raid array and then set up the offset on the array just like if it's a single SSD.

I also prefer to reimage my Win7 install from my HDD onto this SSD array. What's the best way to do that?
