Thats nice, hopefully it will bring DDR400 prices down to near $50 (AMount I paid for 512mb pc2100:D).

Lot's of wishing going on, but as the old saying goes.... "Wish in one hand and sh!t in the other... See which one gets full the quickest".. :p

I stll rather take some pc3500 or pc3700 (cheaper) and run that 275fsb at 5:4 ratio and run the cas at 2,5,3,3 or better...I have seen fist hand that 440ddr will trump that bloated cas3 even at 110mhz faster....


like mentioned above I hope this helps bring the pc3700 down a bit as I need some new stuff...IC7 doesn't like my memory past 255fsb range....

I'm having a hard time believe that half a clock out of a burst read will seriously affect performance at that speeds.
I'm more inclined to believe the memory controller is to blame.
