Corsair CMX512-3700PRO 512MB DDR ...$99.00

N/m

This is XMS memory, not ValuRAM. This had the LED activity lights and everything. Newegg wants $161 for the low latency thats rated the same as this and comes with the platinum (non-LED) heatspreader.

I'd call it pretty nice.

Looks good, might have to pull the trigger on this one in the morning.

Are RAM prices going the way of flash ram? is this stick going to be $50 is a few weeks?

I dont see any "CMX512-3700PRO" at the Corsair site

Option 1: its the CMX512-3700PT with a typo in the part name and the wrong specs (no LED's)

Option 2: its a XMS ProSeries with totaly wrong specs and part name

$ 109.99 now, but it is the LED type, not had a chance to test how far it will overclock yet or mess with the timings

BUMP, this deal is still going on. If the description is true, this is a great deal. The timings (3-4-4-8) are for 467MHz so I think those are good timings. If you were to run at ddr400 I bet you could get timings of 2-3-3-6.

EDIT: I failed to find this exact item on newegg. Do they even make a 512mb corsair xms pc3700 w/LEDs?

I emailed them to ask if the desciption is correct...not that it would make me feel safer if some customer rep that knew nothing about computers told me it was 🙂 I may give them a call during my lunch break.

MWAHAHAHAHA, I didn't even notice that

LOL, it seems like I'm the only one interested in this HOT DEAL but I just got off the phone with the rep and of course he is completely clueless. I informed him that there is no such model as the one described but he was an idiot and couldn't help. He said that I should email outpost to get the description fixed.

This memory is in stock but I think people aren't buying it because they know that they'll get "pot luck" memory. I sent an email this morning and when I hear back from them, I'll post it up here. Let's hope it is some xms pc3200PRO, which would still be a HOT DEAL.

has anyone ordered this memory yet ? I am also keeping my eyes on this memory for too long...and price is excellent...just wondering if anyone has ordered and received them yet and if yes, what memory they got ?

I sent a second email to them asking them to verify or fix the listing...they still haven't responded yet. If you call, it will do no good.

So my question is, who is willing to buy some and tell us what they get 😀?

Can you tell us at what timing the ram runs at DDR400 speeds ? Can it do 2-2-2-5 ? Also, what is the highest you have been able to overclock it to ?

Thanks

I second that request. 🙂

If it does in fact come with the LED's, then it is at least 512mb and pc3200. For $100 this is a great deal, I'm IN!

EDIT: Is there any chance that the error is that it's supposed to be pc4000 no pc3200?

Eh, my total for one stick came out to ~$113 after tax (IL) and shipping. I previously found a deal for this that was $119 shipped and there is no error in the listing. Until more info from steelio, I think I'll hold out.
