Does anyone else have this combo? Im curioud of clearance issues with the h60? I read 1 person said that they could not mount the rad+fan on the rear or furthest back top mount bc of the cpu being in the way. And also read that couldnt put it on the front top mount if your ram has a heatsync on it due to clearance issues?

However this didnt specify if it was the corsair carbide spec 1/2/3 and i know there are a few minor dofferences between the 3.

I just ordered the spec 03 and i really hope I have no issues with any of my components.

Interesting. Especially if someone were hoping for "custom water." Best get these uncertainties out of the way before ordering either the case or your RAM. And frankly -- I don't think enormous heat-spreaders on RAM modules buy you a dime and a cup of coffee . . .

On the Spec 03, it would seem that the 120mm assembly is sufficiently offset to the left side-panel. You'd have to measure, or make some vicarious measurement with diagrams or photos from either Egg or the manufacturer.

The ram I have is hyperx fury and its got a small "heatsync" casing and came free with my motherboard from newegg. I also only bought the corsair h60, not for a custom water build, but because it was on sale at newegg and had comparable pricing to the aftermarket heatsync/fan combo coolers I looked at, since I bought my g3258 with overclocking intentions.

It looks like it will be a very tight fit at the rear. I think its possible to fit if the fan is sandwiched between the radiator and the case, since the radiator is slightly rectangular.

I doubt that you will have any issue with fitting at the top since the top mounts are off center away from the motherboard. My Corsair 400R had radiator clearance issues(fan had to be mounted outside) because my motherboard had tall VRM heatsinks and the top mounts were dead center, less clearance than a off center top mount.
