Corsair Carbide 300r - Yay or Nay?

So I'm thinking of ordering a Corsair Carbide 300r from Newegg for $49 after MIR. Anyone have any experiences with this case?

I'd be switching from an Antec Three Hundred case. From the looks of it the 300r looks really slick and better cable management. That and it's completely black which is another plus for me.

Yes it's good. It's got all the features you can expect in a modern midrange case. I have no experience with it but just by looking at it you can tell that it'll be easy to build in, very customizable and nice to work with. For $50 after rebate I don't see a better case out there at the moment

I am currently using one with 0 issues. With a Hyper 212 and an Asus 6870 DirectCU it is dead nuts quiet.

Seriously, like "is this thing even *on*?" quiet.

I used a HAF 932 for my last build and came to the realization that I don't need all the bells and whistles.

My only half hearted complaint would be that things can get a little tight behind the motherboard tray if you're not using a fully modular power supply and have to stuff a lot of cords back there.

Did you purchase any additional fans or do you only use what came with it?

I think I'd like to have exhaust fans in the top to keep dust from falling into it.

I did not. Nice to have the option, of course.

This is what the inside looks like after 2 weeks.

Here's what the general set-up looks like, with exactly 0 effort put in to cable management.
