Hello,

I'm building a pc for the first time!

Im on a 600 CAD budget

So far i have decided to get the following parts:

Seagate Barracuda 3tb (7200) - getting it for $100

Cooler Master K350(Mid tower)- $25

Ripjaws x series (2x4)(1866) - $ 40

gtx 560 sc(evga version) - $35+$35 for going to a different city to get it(after rebate and discount)(Already Bought it)

either the 3570-$180 or the 3570k-$220

ASUS P8Z77-V LK- $95

and a cheap optical drive(suggestions?)-going to be used to mainly install the Os and sometimes games

So my main question is whether a corsair builder series cs 500 v2(for $30) will be good enough for the following set up?

Can i also get some comments on the setup(if its good or bad,if any improvements are needed, if any parts are incompatible and so on).Oh and i was also wondering if i shud gt the 3570k or the 3570(keeping in mind tht i can gt the k for 220 and the non k for 180)

I will be using this computer for gaming.I dont really care for super high settings(decent fps with mid to high settings are fine by me).

Thank You!

Your system consumes around 200-250 watts at load, adding a couple of case fans won't have any noticeable effect on reliability or lifetime whatsoever for a 500 watt unit
