Hi, i am planning to buy Corsair Obsidian 900D to my new rendering workstation. I am concern about few compatibility issues:

1. there is in this case any special mount place for 2,5" SSD? or i need to buy an adapter for eg. from 3,5 to 2,5?

2. Does this case support workstation standard motherboards like Z10PE-D8 WS => EEB Form Factor 12 inch x 13 inch ( 30.5 cm x 33.02 cm ). Because on corsair page in specification it isn't listed (only Mini-ITX, MicroATX, ATX, E-ATX, XL-ATX, HPTX)

And i have one question about Corsair Hydro series. If any corsair hydro product is compatible with Socket 2011 (Intel SB-E & IB-E) it means also that is compatible with newer version 2011-v3 (HaswellE/EP)/EN or no?

1. I haven't looked into the Corsair 900D's spec sheets but I reckon any of the newer cases would have at least one 2.5" drive bay, even more so on a flagship Corsair case. Even if it doesn't have a 2.5" bay, most SSDs come with a bracket. Heck, you could even tape it somewhere in the case with velcro or double sided foam tape and it'll work just fine.

2. According to this, EEB is equivalent to a EATX. The Corsair 900D is very large and if it doesn't fit in the Corsair 900D, there aren't may cases out there that could.

EATX is vertical (33.02 cm x 30.5 cm) standard and EEB is horizontal (30.5 cm x 33.02 cm).. so there is a diffrence

Negligible difference in size. The motherboard mounting points are standardized, from mITX to the largest motherboard. As long as all the screws fit, a little bit of overhang in either direction will not negatively affect it. It might cover some of the rubber grommets but that is to be expected for anything larger than an ATX.

If you're still uncertain that it will fit into a Corsair 900D, check out what CaseLabs has to offer. If the CaseLabs Magnum TX10-D can't fit, then nothing will.

I can't speak of the 900D, but the previous Corsair large cases (700D & 800D) had hard drive mounts for both 3.5" and 2.5". However, the 2.5" isn't toolless. I don't see why the 900D would be any different.

As far as motherboards, I would check to see the mounting holes and how they line up compared to EATX / ATX. I don't see a reason it wouldn't work, but I can't give a definite answer.
