I am putting together a new machine, and I'm wondering if the Corsair 620HX is a good choice.

Asus p5k
intel q6600
ati 2900 xt
1x raptor hard drive at 10k rmp
2x sata hard drvie
1x ide hard drive
1x sata optical drive
4x1GB ddr2 800
antec p182 case

im not a hardcore OCer but i will probably oc the cpu and gpu a little. is it going to give me enough juice if I OC a bit? I was thinking of a 700W OCZ GameXStream, but i hear its loud and doesn't come with the 8 pin pci-e connector. the corsair is about $20 more. are there any other good PSUs in the same price range as these?

The 620HX is an outstanding choice, and it has plenty of headroom for your rig which will pull <350W under full load.

Seconded, the 520w corsair will do as well and costs a bit less if money is a problem.

I see you posted this at Tom's as well. Thats good. Since i can't post there i'll reply here. Yes that PSu is more then capable of powering your new system. Good luck with the new build.

The Corsair is a way better PSu then the OCZ so stick with what you have.
