On a Mini-ITX Asus Z170i Pro Gaming MB...(with latest bios)

Since I completed the new rig a few weeks ago, I haven't been able to get both sticks of RAM running. Enabled XMP in bios...NADA... I have seen this issue raised at many tech sites as I have sought a solution...Bought 16GB of both... My buddy trying to get it running as we speak.

Thoughts, anyone?
 
 
Turns out that one of the MB's RAM slots is not working.

I'm past the return date at Amazon (got MB @ July 10th) to get a new replacement MB. I 'chatted' w/ Asus-USA service rep 2 days ago. They would not replace my MB w/ a new one but will repair.... said they were out of stock on new ones...hmm...

Hoping to have the MB back in @ 10 days....
