Corrupted USB jump drive profile..

I have a USB jump drive that seems to be shown as corrupt on a one laptop. If I take to other machine, it works fine. But the specific laptop always wants to format it, but can't. I'm guessing that the profile of the device id corrupt.

Anyone know how to clean it up so that it reinstalls the profile?

I wouldn't know for sure, but maybe while it's plugged in you can go to the device manager and remove it and see if it gets re regognized properly.
