Corrupted Registry on Windows 2000, how to fix?

Hello, if I have a message that says the registry is corrupted on windows 2000, how can i fix it? Will the computer continue to work if I do not fix it? I will post more details as they come, since this is an "over icq support thing" Thanks.

how about if you throw in the win2k cd and boot it up and follow the repair option, this might take a look at your registry, dunno for sure though

Look in WINNT\Repair.

There are backups of your registry, but they are probably from when you first installed Windows.


I learned to make my backups regularly.
