For some damn reason, My slave which is partitioned into 2 drives, a 30gb and a 130gb. The 30gb which had a massive ammount of important data like mp3s and all my backup programs and is now "corrupted and unreadable" The other partition works perfectly. What the hell is going on.

It was working perfectly fine yesterday. I havnt changed anything. It runs chkdsk and says "corrupted master file table!!!!!!!!" I need help recovering my files badly. What program can I use to do this.

This is the second time its happened actually. It happends to my other slave as well. Luckily it happened to the partition on the other side of the hard drive that had no data.

I use an Epox 9npa+ ultra mobo. Is it unsafe to use a partition or something these days wtf! For some reason, im thinking its the motherboard. If it is the motherboard im gonna take it outside and run it over with my car. Its starting to piss me off though. I need to recover this data. All atempts so far havnt worked. What software do I need?

If the MFT is too small for the amount of data on the drive, it risks getting corrupted I think. That may have been what happened, althought I don't know why it didn't automatically adjust itself to be bigger :(. I wish I could recommend a recovery program but I don't know of any other than POSSIBLY somethin by norton that's packaged with partition magic?

That must be whats happening. Its happened twice. I thought running a partioned disk was perfectly safe. Freaking lame.
