I got sent a video from a brand new iPhone 6 to my now old Galaxy Nexus (Android 4.3) and playing it on the phone the video was quite corrupted, colours and the video shifts to the side with vertical breaks. The original video on the iPhone 6 plays just fine and it plays on an iPhone 5 as well. So I downloaded the video to a PC and in VLC it plays fine as well.
I have never seen this phone fail to decode video properly before, its not a problem its often had it just so happens to be a problem with these iPhone 6 encoded videos. So presumably this is a problem with either Android or my phone hardware as the iPhone 6 is using some part of the h264 spec that my phones hardware doesn't like?
