Corrupted files from CD:ROM to Hard drive, cant install

My Cd-Rom drive wotks fine when reading cd-roms, playing videos, audio etc. But when ever I install anything, the files which are installed are corrupted. I have checked the hard drive (scan disk/frag) and no errors.

Try unchecking DMA for your cdrom in the device manager & see if that helps.
