Corrupt Textures and Constant Crashing

Hi, I just bought a Soltek SL-75KV and a Duron 700 to go with it. When running games such as Quake 3 the textures become corrupt and then it crashes after about 10min of gameplay. The Video card I am using is the 16mb Viper 770 clocked normally. I have the 6.31 Det. drivers installed with DX8. DO you think the problem is the V/C or the Mobo/CPU being to hot (What is a normal temp for a duron 700?). What are some bios settings I could try. Should AGP 4x be enabled? I think the Viper is only 2x. Any input to my dilema would be very helpful.

Try forcing your AGP speed to x1. I had problems with 3D games locking up and this fixed all of them.
