Corrupt Profile Windows 7

I built a PC for my nephew a few months back. A few days after it was built it took forever on the loading windows screen then eventually booted with a corrupt profile error message.
After some googling I followed a guide to create a new profile and erase the old corrupt one.

Everything was working well for a couple months and yesterday the same issue happened.
What do you think is causing the problem?

I have installed and run Windows 7 on several PCs for different people and none of them has had any issues with a recurring corrupt user profile except for my nephew.

I asked him what he does on his PC and he says youtube, facebook, and games installed in steam.

I have run memtest thinking it may be memory issues but it passed 2 complete tests with 0 errors.

his specs are i7 2700k (not overclocked), P8Z68-V, hyper 212+, 8GB of ram (on the supported ram list for the board), seagate 1TB hard drive, and an xfx 6870 powerd by a 850w Corsair PSU.

Could be malware virus. open Cmd and type in sfc /scannow this will repair damage files

I've had that happen once. Was surprisingly easy to fix by just make a new profile and deleting the old one though (we might have found the same google guide ). I think the culprit was an infected exe I downloaded from the net, which didn't seem to do/show anything at all when I clicked on it.

Just tried that 'sfc /scannow' on this comp for fun too (held Ctrl-Shift while clicking on Command Prompt to run as admin, and it said "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.") Good to know.

thanks for the reply's everyone.
I have run avg, mbam, and super and all show no signs of malware/virus.
I think it has to be an issue with one of the games he plays but I have no idea how to trouble shoot it to find out.
By playing steam games, minecraft, messing around on facebook and youtube I see no reason for his profile to be getting corrupted.

I have read that google update can cause this issue so I'm going to ask him if he has anything google installed.
