than i tried to update and remove that drivers. But whenever i do such action my system gets restart. It doesn't take new modem or update driver. I have installed 'Soft 56' Driver

Can any body help me??

Welcome to AT Network Forum.

Make sure that you have the correct drivers for WinXP (look at the manufacturer site).

Take out the Modem, reboot one time without the modem, check for Ghost Device (http://www.ezlan.net/faq#ghost ) clean if necessary, switch off insert the modem, reboot and try again.

If it does not work repeat the above but insert the Modem into a different PCI slot.

Still does Not work, you might need another Modem.

Can you give more detail on what happens when you try to remove and re-install the driver? What does it do before it restarts?

If English is not your first language, perhaps you could post screenshots of what happens.

hello,

Thank you for interest.

Let me write in detail.

I am using dual system. Win 98 and Win XP.

Modem's driver is working good in 98 but it doesn't work in XP.

When I am going to update or driver system hang 3-5 Second and after it gets restart.
