Again then why are the Deans AND president of OSU, after seeing the FULL and real story, not taking any action as well?

Sorry, sounds like a bunch of poltical BS from a sore robinson.

Well in all fairness, they watch each others backs. If they overturn the professors decision, that would mean they would have to punish him some how. I mean you can't just overturn something like that and forget it ever happened. Since these guys are in to help each other and the prof probably has tenure, the kids suffer.

Universities are practically all about indoctrination now, the story given by the OP makes sense but we'll probably never know for sure. People do this kind of shit all the time in every walk of life.

Not sure what university you went to, but the one I went to the deans would fight all time and the President would have to step in sometimes. Public university they fight over every dollar and anything else that would make them look good.
The president would through someone under the bus if it made them or the school look bad as well.

I agree the story is very one-sided and for the skeptics, there is no reason to believe a shred of it. However I have it on close authority that the situation is quite plausible, based on colleagues whom have first-hand experience with these people. I know this is not a useful argument, I'm just shedding light on why I thought it was reliable enough to post in the first place.

Don't worry. For those of us that can think for ourselves, we don;t believe a shred of it.

Its funny how when someone posts a blog entry that says the parent company of Limbaugh and Hannity's radio show uses paid callers everyone jumped to the conclusion that it must be true. However, when basically the same thing is done to a bunch of libs in academia, the story holds little water, must be thoroughly investigated before making a judgement, etc. Sure seems like this is more likely than the Limbaugh and Hannity story but all of a sudden we must have a complete ironclad story before we rush to judgement.

It's worse than that. The liberal line is that we can't speculate why three children might all suddenly have been kicked out when their father runs for office as a Republican, but must accept that nothing untoward has happened despite this amazing coincidence until we can prove otherwise. But since the university is citing privacy restrictions in divulging no info, this is destined to be forever a mystery.

It's good to be the king and own the media and academia.

It's because when one side is accused they circle up the wagons and defend their own, but when the other in involved the accused's head is automatically on the chopping block because he must be guilty.

In this case all three getting tossed at the same time? Doesn't seem likely, however there is no way to get at this but one- someone sues the college and gets the records opened. That's entirely possible.

OR......... as posted earlier, the three could remove the legal hurdle and give consent for the university to talk about the case(s).

I don't know that Higginbotham said anything. I said the source for the 2 links in the first post is Robinson.

The only source I've seen about Higginbotham is also Robinson.
If Higginbotham was "misquoted" in some way I imagine he would have said something by now...no? But you're right...we don't have a lot of facts to go on right now...but it sure doesn't look good for Higley.

I'd go for that, but there would be a caveat. Without exception all documents would have to be available for public scrutiny. Talking is useless unless there's verifiable documentation behind it.

All documents, including the faculty's and administration's records.

That is the standard for fact checking ? say anything and if it isn't denied it must be true ?

Robinson plays the victim card, even before there are any victims. Not surprising, and not surprising that our usual righties slurp right down on it...

Did that satisfy the craving for outrage?

In the mindless right wing o sphere, yes. Robinson is on their team, so it must be True!

Really? three kids get bounced at the same time their father runs for office....and we're still looking to say they are playing the victim card?

Seems pretty clear that this could very likely be retailiation for a run....sad if true.
