Corrupt BIOS?

I was making some changes in my bios, trying to get a few extra MHz out of my cpu and it didnt like the settings i gave it. It just froze during bootup. So naturally i used the jumper to clear the CMOS like ive done a million times before. But this time, my computer refuses to boot up afterwards. Power comes on, fans spin, but nothing on the monitor. Its an Epox board, and the diagnostic LED gives the code F2... which is not listed in the manual.

I tried pulling out the battery, and clearing the CMOS again, and everything i could think of, but still nothing. Is there anything i can do about this short of ordering a new BIOS chip from Epox? I went on Epox's website to try and order a replacement BIOS chip.. only to find that they dont have my model listed.

Closest thing i was able to find was for the 8RDA3+, and i dont think that one is going to work for me though. What now??

System specs-
Athlon XP 2100+ @ 210x10
Epox 8RDA6+ (NF2)
1 gig geil ram
XFX 6600GT AGP
Antec 550w PSU

I'd just clear 'em again (the CMOS). This time leave the battery out overnight.

Happened to me with my NF2 rig during an OC and for some reason was just hard to clear, but the overnight thingy did it.

Might try checking other connections (HS fan header etc) just in case you accidentially knocked something loose when clearing the CMOS.

Make sure to unplugg the PC too.

Good Luck with it.
