hahaha....they won`t win shit!! Sorry....but they had fair warning to evacuate several weeks before the houses were taken down!!

Jedi, Al Queda just gave you a month's fair warning they're going to bulldoze your home. You don't deserve anything for that when it happens, 'hahaha!!!!' Too bad the liberals won't protest to protect your rights.

Come post here when you lose your home, and we'll post how we 'don't approve the policy', but oh well too bad, the only issue to post about is that you better not protest much, if you do you deserve it.

Of course, you are in no danger of your home being bulldozed - making it easy for you to ignore the others who lost theirs and arrogantly 'approve' and dehumanize others. That's what evil is about.

Whether it was Germans going after Jews or Jews going after Palastenians or Hamas going after PLO or whatever group doing it to whatever group. But you take no responsibility for your role in the evil as a voter, voting for leaders who will 'give aid' to a regime, and their UN veto to block the world from doing anything about the abuse, based on our 'national interests' to having a regime who will be our proxy military, and let them do what they like to the people next door.

What the fuck do you expect to happen when you stand in front of a bulldozer.

Just like the "highly educated" reporters who worked for Al Gore or those "highly educated" Berkeley graduates who are now imprisoned in Iran.

The only people I might have less sympathy for are those who play on train tracks, get killed, and then have their families sue the train company.

I might sounds like an ass but an ounce of common sense goes a long ways.

The parents should be looking at themselves for raising a stupid daughter instead of trying to pass the buck onto someone else.

At least you see both sides, instead of just the view from Common Dreams. There's also a picture of the dozer. It's very plausible for the driver to have not seen her.

So what if the driver did see her. When a bulldozer is rolling in your direction you move or you face the consequences.

If you think what the bulldozer is doing is illegal you seek justice after the fact through the legal system.

I'll bet you money you can't show me an old post from you saying you support tank man in the Chinese protest years ago being run over. That's because you lack morals - you just blindly support 'your side'.

THere was no legal recourse available for the Palestinian house bulldozings - it was an immoral, legal policy supported by the state.

Morality is relative. Legality is definitive.

Craig, I might find the fact that 60% of my income is seized by the government yet I still pay it. Why is that? Because it would be illegal not to pay it and there would be legal repercussions if I didn't.

IHateViruses, I wouldn't even bother. I thought he's a Muslim, that at least would have made it understandable why he's taking the side of the human-bombs. If he's a Christian, then he's just one of the deranged Rachel Correy types.

Shalom.

Corrie Family files Civil Suit over Israeli Murder of American Citizen

Now, 7 years after the murder

I didn't find any mention of murder in the linked article and the article's title is
"Rachel Corrie's Family Brings Civil Suit over Human Shield's Death in Gaza"

Mods usually request that OPs change a title when they are inaccurate and inflammatory like this.

Lot's of conflicting information on this incident. Hopefully a trial will bring out the truth.
This appears to be one good indepth article.
http://motherjones.com/politics/2003/09/death-rachel-corrie

Just before five o'clock, one of the D9s rumbled lazily toward a high cinder-block wall near Nasrallah's house. Corrie swiftly positioned herself between the wall and the bulldozer, then about 30 yards from her. Crouching on the earth, almost like a supplicant in prayer, she placed her right foot behind her left and rested her right knee on the ground. Looking toward the bulletproof windows, she could probably see the silhouettes of two Israeli operators. The steel blade began pushing a huge pile of debris and sandy soil toward her, so close that the scent of the moist earth permeated her nostrils. The ground began to shift beneath her feet. Tom Dale was standing a few yards from Corrie as the bulldozer got close. "The bulldozer built up earth in front of it. Its blade was slightly dug into the earth," he told me. "She began to stand up. The earth was pushed over her feet. She tried to climb on top of the earth, to avoid being overwhelmed. She climbed to the point where her shoulders were above the top lip of the blade. She was standing on this pile of earth. As the bulldozer continued, she lost her footing, and she turned and fell down this pile of earth. Then it seemed like she got her foot caught under the blade. She was helpless, pushed prostrate, and looked absolutely panicked, with her arms out, and the earth was piling itself over her. The bulldozer continued so that the place where she fell down was directly beneath the cockpit. I think she would have been between the treads. The whole [incident] took place in about six or seven seconds."

All that media hype for Neda, but not one bit for Rachel.

because neda was less than a month, whereas rachel was killed more than 7 years.

rachel has gotten far more attention than neda.

she was victim to her own delusional and far-left retardation.

neda was a victim of an oppressive islamic dictatorship which many palestinians express solidarity with.

to make parallels between the two is demonstrate of moral ineptitude.

i mean europeans made plays about corrie, books, newspaper editorials, etc.

neda got 5 seconds of coverage in comparison.

she was a local girl and I still feel bad for her family. But yes there is a large percentage of the loony left here. And as others have said , I think she just thought the tree hugging tricks would work elsewhere. And it you have ever been on a large Cat the visibility isn't real great.
