correcting aspect ratio when capturing or burning

I use a bungee device to capture VHS tapes but the problem is that the reselution is 480*480 which is not right, since I would want it to follow the 4:3 standard but that's not it.

So if I put it in nero to burn to DVD, how do I get nero to "shape" that in a 4:3 ratio? Will it do it by default? I cant find an option for it so I assume so, but I don't want to waste a dvd to find out. I'm using nerovision express 2.
