Trance has just about nothing to do with the dj, and everything to do with the producer. Trance DJ's are a joke.
what about John Digweed. Sasha does a good set but he is using Ableton now.

Sasha and Digweed are producers, they have many tracks to their credit and regularly play with samplers, personally pressed vinyl, and various other sounds/tracks they made themselves.
They are not your run of the mill sh!tty bedroom trance DJ who couldn't make a cut, scratch, juggle, play three records or any number of dj tricks. Sasha and Digweed also walk the line of trance, they are not fully devoted to the complete sh!t vocal, dreamy space trance everyone here seems to love. They actually cross genre boundaries and incorporate many styles into their music. I've seen them quite a few times back in the early to mid 1990's.
ps. I've professionally dj'ed house, techno and hip hop for quite a few years.
