Sooooo, now there is a new Core Temp 0.95.4 that has the Tjunction at the correct level (or so they say) for the C2D set to 100c.
So my question is related to all the posts/reviews/comments, weeks/months ago that stated temperatures for the e6850 (with after-market coolers) that were approx. 27c IDLE 35c LOAD,
prior to the new Core Temp..
Have any of you seen your temps using the new Core Temp?
With AS5 and a Tuniq Tower 120 I am getting 31c IDLE and 54c LOAD (after 80mins of SP2004 ORTHOS 0.41.110.18) so I am a little concerned (new build so I have no comparisons of my own) .
Temps according to EVEREST HOME ed. MB 38c GPU 46c GPU Ambient 36c
Temps according to ABIT uGuru 3.0.2.3 SYSTEM 26c CPU 27c PVM 43c
Temps according to Core Temp has both cores at 54c after 80mins of ORTHOS.
So are my temps normal for a e6850 with a TUNIQ tower OC'ed to only 3600mhz (vcore at 1.42) with the following hardware.
Abit IP-35 PRO, 2gb of ram, 8800GT 725 1800 2000, 5 case fans
