Correct BIOS settings to run CPU

I just put together my Q6600 rig yesterday with GA-P35C-DS3R, but I'm relatively inexperienced with tweaking the BIOS. I want the Q6600 to run at stock without having it automatically set the multiplier within windows (varies from 6-9). What setting would this be in the BIOS? Also, I'm running on 4GB DDR2-800 Crucial Ballistix, but the RAM latencies and speed has been automatically set and is running slower than stock as I've seen through CPU-Z. How do I change this? Also, if I set the FSB on my Q6600 from 266 to 333, would this be considered a "free" OC without having to up the voltage or deal with more heat output?

Finally, what is a good program for monitoring temps of the cores? I currently am using speedfan (is this accurate?) with the Tuniq Tower 120 + Arctic Silver 5 and temps on my G0 Quad read to be 20-27C @ 6x266 and 9x266. Are these good?

Your quetion is much to broad.

What you are asking is like someone who just bought a new car and has never driven nor ever rode in a car before, and asks "How do I drive?" Well, the answer is simple....step on the gas and stear. But, I'm sure you can see that this answer will get the happless new driver into a crash in the first few hundred feet.....the same as the answer to your questions would in the first few seconds.

You need to do some reading about BIOS settings and clocking CPUs and memory. It's rather compliated, so some knowledge is requires before you start.

There are many good overclocking guides on many forums. Just read a few to get an idea of that you're getting yourself into.

Thanks for your reply, but I was just hoping someone who's used the GA-P35-DS3R's BIOS could help me out here.
