Corner tub/shower combo

My wife and I are about to remodel a bathroom, which is currently a tiny little thing. We're going to knock out a wall and add a closet and part of a hallway to the bathroom, but there still won't be a lot of room.

Does anybody know of a manufacturer that makes a corner tub/shower combo that doesn't cost a fortune? I've looked at some models by Kohler, American Standard and MAAX, but it seems like most corner units are whirlpool tubs and not designed to be used as a shower, not to mention pretty expensive. I would prefer something that had either an integrated or optional apron so I don't have to build a deck, but if someone knows of a simple drop in corner tub with no whirlpool, I'm not totally against the idea.

Nobody I know of makes what you're looking for. What you could do is buy a corner tub and run a pipe up the wall, then add your own shower head. Would look kind of goofy though IMO.

when i was visiting a friend in japan, he had a tub where you would sit in. and the water comes up to your neck 🙂 that was freakin cool.. now, i need to make it large enough for 2 ppl and some movement 😉

also, I like how korean bathrooms are tiled all over and has drain in the middle of the floor, so you can splash water all over the place and its fine.

This is called a garden tub. Our new house is going to have on in it 🙂

I've never priced them but why don't you look into some of the fiberglass units? Can't believe they would be terribly expensive.
