Is the stats server completly gone now? It doesn't say timeout anymore but non existent / denied. :evil: Did we completly overload it now or even better, alre all WUs done? Are you folks still getting WUs to crunch on? Any news here?

It looks like my client is still working, allthough it is having a really hard time down- and uploading WU's... and it has been impossible for me to get stats for today.

As of right now the client is reporting 344.000 Jobs done.
 

Hey... I've been trying to pull stats multiple (many) times without succes today, and now a few minutes after I wrote my previous post I actually succeeded in getting them... 🙂

Well, I do hope that he returns soon, as I'm rather curious as to hear his reaction. How many clients do you think TA has contributed with???

Since the client did not really stress the PC, I've had it running on the following PC's:
- P3-550MHz
- AthlonXP2600+
- P4 2800@3100

On the first of them it has been noticeable running the client, resulting in a slightly less SOB production, but I can't say that the impact was noteworthy on the others.
For now I will keep it running on the Athlon but not the other two, as it seems the WU-server can't really deal with it all too well. 🙂 :evil:
 
My client won't connect anymore. It just sits there and says "Connection error...reconnecting" Did we break it permanently or did we finish the job.
 
@MechEng: I had the multithreaded version running on my P4 2,8 HT and I noticed the difference. I had it running along with two instances of F@H and while it was running, my average frame time for the current WUs increased from 1:03 hours to about 1:22 hours. It's not that bad, but it was at least noticeable.

@JeffCos: I can't get any WUs right now as well, but it has been like that a couple of times today for me. Also, the stats server doesn't time out right now but says nonexistent / denied.

please don't take my silence in this thread as nonappreciation. I've been busy with school work (ugh) and I have a big test to study for tomorrow (double ugh).

I definitely did not even imagine this level of reaction from everybody, and I appreciate it a lot. Thanks to everyone who ran, is running, or is planning to run the program, you guys are great.

good luck on your test tomorrow...and thanks for posting. You are welcome, and I think I speak for most of the stats freaks out there...we just like to see TA crunch to #1 in everything, and that it is going to help you with a little cash, that is pretty sweet too.

Same here all day... Must have crashed totally, or they have taken it down for maintenance. I also cannot get any WU's to crunch. 🙁
I hope they will get it working again, so we can crunch those last WU's... 😉

EDIT:
I was a little too fast there... It seems I can get a few WU's, but it is taking a loooong time. The client reports allmost 350.000 jobs done for "our" account, as of right now...
 

Stats update...

You can really see one the drop in jobs since last update, that the WU server has been severely stressed... 😉
Maybe they are running short of WU's ! :evil:
