I was interested in these combined TV tuner/PC monitors until I read multiple tepid reviews for the Envision 7500---as a TV, apparently the picture is awful. I assume the much-more-expensive LCD TV's you see in places like Circuit City are somehow better. I wonder if this unit performs any better than the Envision model. Anyone own one...?

Reading user reviews - it seems that the TV works great. Also - Tiger Dircet is $610 shipped, so $30 less at eCost.

I've been using this Cornea CT1702T for a while now. Just make sure they have a liberal return policy. When mine first came, it has 3 dead pixels, and it also has a coax connector that is recessed to the casings, rendering it useless. Called Cornea systems and they say that they can't do anything about the dead pixel but they will replace it anyway because i have that connector problem. Have a replacement within 2 days.

LCD itself is quite good, very bright, and pixel response is about the same as my Samsung 191T. My only rant is its 110 degree vertical viewing angle makes it a little hazy when i sit on the floor watching tv while the lcd is on the desk. TV Tuner quality is about the same as my ATI TV wonder in my pc.

Currently i have the digital connected to my PC, the coax connected to cable, composite connected to dreamcast, s-video connected to ps2. All is sweet, this is one hell of a multi-purpose lCD... if you can find a good one, that is.
