Coretemp 97 question

I'm OC'ng my new Q6600 and was wondering if Coretemp 97 is telling me the true temps or if it still has the 15 degree offset? I'm seeing idle temps in the 23-25'ish C range (my ambient is around 58F or so as it's in my basement).

Load temps are usually more meaningful than idle temps. How high do you go at load?

what kind of cooling are you using? only being in the 50's at 3.6 is VERY cool unless you're on water.

That's what I was thinking which is why I'm not sure about whether I'm seeing the offset issue or not. Cooling is air - Zalman 9500, but again my ambient is quite cool as well.
