Cores 3 & 4 stuck at 46 C idle + load - Q9400

It seems the temperature readouts for Cores 3 and 4 of my Q9400 are stuck at 46 C no matter if they are using 99% CPU or none at all.

Is this an error with my temperature reading software or with the chip?
