Have been running ME now for a few months and really like it. It is stable and reliable, and easy to manage lots of hardware with. CorelDraw 9 worked fine with it.
Now I decided to upgrade to CD10. In general it is OK except it kills a very good feature in ME . . . viewing all graphic files as thumbnails. I tried several fixes to no avail.
I repeated the installation on two other computers and found the same effect . . . no Thumbnails . . . just carrier boxes for them.
My conclusion was that CD10 overwrote some critical registry entries that relate to that function. I conmtacted Corel but have not yet heard from them.
In the meantime . . . I solved the problem! I simply reinstalled ME over itself, and in about 45 minutes everything was done and working correctly . . . including thumbnails.
I will now tell Corel to study their setup routine and fix it so that does not happen. Everyone wants their damned software to be the default viewer . . . and all I want from them is simp;ly to ask so I can say "No!!!"
