If you look at the second PDF then go to section 2.2.1, the case temperature is explained. It's apparently a temperature measured at the center of the IHS. So is this the T(casemax) that's in the CoreTemp program? It's usually at 85celcius for Core2 CPUs I think. So does this mean that our CPUs can handle up to 85 celcius as viewed from the CoreTemp program?
