i noticed that newer nvidia motherboards support 1T for DDRII ram on core2 duo.

i have an asus p5b deluxe that only supports 2T.

is there much of an increase in performance?

is it enough performce increase to warrant switching to nvidia board. the new asus p5n-e sli with 650i chipset sure looks atractive for the price

probably not. Unless you need the SLI feature.
