core WRT54G just died and I need a replacement...fast

Hey everyone...

The core router for my home network at long lived WRT54G v2 has finally kicked the bucket...and as usual I'm caught unprepared. Can anyone suggest a good replacement router for this?

What I'm looking for is:

solid performance
ability to run dd-wrt or other third party firmware
b/g and maybe n, (I have no "n" clients yet, but i'm sure this is going to happen)
gigabit lan would be nice since I'm all gig.
cheap (because I'm cheap). I don't think I've paid more than $40 for any of my 6 routers.
