My new 7DXR+ motherboard has small oddity regarding the core voltage. The BIOS PC Health Monitor and MBM always show the core voltage 0.05v higher than what I set in the BIOS. In other words, if I set the voltage at 1.6v it will show 1.65v and if I set 1.65v it will show 1.7v, etc... I've never had this occur on any other motherboard I've owned.
Do you think the measurement of the voltage is simply miscalibrated or do you think the measurement is right and the wrong voltage is being supplied?
Is there any simple way to measure the core voltage with a voltmeter?
I do know the reported values for the 5v and 12v lines are often off as I've directly measured them before. The reported core voltage has always been right on (+- 0.01v) the set core voltage on all my motherboards.
Anyone else experience anything like this?
