Hi people.

Quick question about CPU core volatges

>>> aside from the extra heat that is generated from upping the voltage, can supplying more voltage than is 'neccesary' actually cause instability of the CPU? Can it damage the CPU?

voltage is what kills cpu's most of the time (ranked right up there with chipped/cracked cores)
heat can destroy cpu's, but due to cpu/chipset/bios/motherboard protections this is not nearly as big of an issue these days
