Core Temp

Running my P5k and E6750 at stock specs Core Temp pukes and gets the Windows error report message. I have used the .95 and .95.4 versions. When I run Orthos it errors out pretty quick. This is a fresh install of Windows XP. I haven't done any overclocing yet and wanted t do a baseline first. Does anybody have any Ideas as to why this would happen?

What I would do is make sure that you installed the heatsink correctly and try to check temps with speedfan or tat sometimes coretemp kills your system without reason even when it is orthos stable. Since it is not I would check the temps as they could be your problem also run mem check some.

The system is perfectly stable. When Core is running my temps are low 20s at idle and mid 40s with Orthos running. What happens is that little box pops up tha says this application needs to close, send error report, don't send error report. Everything else continues to function fine.
