Is Core Temp considered the best way to measure temps in your case? I noticed when I downloaded it that it is telling me that it is running about 8C above my Asus PC Probe.

Core Temp uses an on die temp diode instead of one on the Mobo therefore it will often read higher but it should be more realistic. read more about it here

I just started using core temp too because a friend told me about this temperature thing.
