Core Temp / SpeedFan (or equivs) for Vista?

I've lurked here for a while (especially since building my E6400 box a few months ago), but haven't posted until now.

As much as I'm underwhelmed by it, I've been forcing myself to spend most of my computing time in Vista lately. After all, being in IT I'll have to be able to support it effectively before long. Since I've got this thing overclocked (3.28 GHz on the stock cooler, I love this processor) I do like to keep an eye on temps and fan speeds. Unfortunately, Core Temp and SpeedFan don't seem to run in Vista. TAT doesn't seem to run either. I've done some searching but haven't come up with anything that claims Vista compatibility. Every program I have tried fails.

So, are there any decent temp and/or fan utils that run under Vista yet, or do I just need to wait a while?

Speedfan should run fine in 32 bit Vista. The 64-bit versions signed driver requirement makes it more problematic.

Yeah, I just got SpeedFan 4.31 to work by booting with the driver signature stuff disabled. Happen to know if there's a way to permanently disable that rather than having to hit F8 every time I restart?

You must be running 64-bit Vista?

All three programs you mentioned (Core Temp/iTAT/Speedfan) work fine for me in Vista 32-bit.

I won't be touching 64-bit for a while longer, since there is still a disturbing lack of support for well, way too much.

Yep, running Vista 64bit. Still have XP 32bit on another drive in case it goes south on me/becomes too much trouble. Some things work great, some things not so much. My biggest activities lately have been web browsing and FEAR, and both of those work fine.
