Try realtemp. Its hard to say why it would fail. Also note if you got any other monitoring utilities.

Tried the latest version of Real Temp and for whatever reason it only shows 4 of my 6 cores....

Well it works, but it doesn't have an app for the G15 keyboard like Coretemp does. Still it's better than what I was using.

Real temp is alot better imo.

I only use core temp for amd cpus
Real Temp... lacking support for older chips.. for example P4. Completely ignoring the whole line-up of AMD processors. Core Temp can get a bit glitchy, depending on platform used. Each has its own set or quirks.

I just use AIDA64, it has the widest support of hardware, albeit it's not as convenient.

So is there no way at all to tell what's going on with the crash log ? Is that just a bunch of mumbo jumbo ?
