Does this program give false results because i was running x264 HD Benchmark and core temp said my temp was 255C
 
hmm since its a release candidate possibly.

If you try with a stable regular version do you see the same results?
 
It seems that the 1.0 version of CoreTemp is adware. If you go to the website, and click "other downloads", and download the non-adware version, it's still RC3 unfortunately.
