core speed of 9800 pro

im thinking about upgrade my video card. but now i m confused by the core speed of the 9800 pro. i was told that old version 9800 pro has the core speed of 350 and newer one has 360. but when i find 9800 pro from newegg, it says core speed is 380 like below:

they are talking about r350 and r360 cores. It is the type of GPU (Graphics Processoing Unit) that is on the card itself, not it's clock speed.

r360 is the same core used on the 9800xt so it supports more shaders when flashed to xt

r350 overclock higher generally.

Yep, the r350 & r360 are just model numbers basically, they in no way reflect the gpu speed. They could be named p and q, or 5,000,000 and 6,000,000.
