Core i7-3632QM (35W) in Dell E6230

So, I may be purchasing the 12.5" Dell Latitude E6230 soon to replace my ancient Lenovo T500. This machine uses socketed Ivybridge dual-core chips with a TDP of 35W.

As I run Gentoo, I am very interested in getting as much CPU power in one place as possible. The i7-3632QM is a quad-core/eight-thread CPU with the TDP of the usual 2c/4t models.

Will I be able to stick it inside the E6230 and have a tiny powerhouse? 🙂

actually, a better reason why you cant is because on the e6230 the processor is soldered to the motherboard, no processor upgrading. that's why I went with the e6420 as opposed tot he e6220 (e6220 has soldered on processor too).
