is this processor enough with a r9 290 to max out advanced warfare at 1080p. ive been playing it and it seems to stutter sometimes im not sure why. not sure if its network lag or what not. i know the games pretty demanding. anyone shed some light on this for me.

Try turning down graphical settings and see if you get a better framerate. That would indicate you are cpu limited. The 4440 is a pretty good gaming cpu, but it does give up a fair amount of base clockspeed and turbo to the higher end i5 skus, along with not being overclockable. The game is a ram hog as well, I assume you have at least 8gb of system ram?

Game.gpu got around 60FPS min and 75 max with a 290x and a 2500k, which will be similar to your cpu, but maybe a bit faster. That may have been single player though, which will be a lot less cpu demanding than multiplayer. I am not sure how patches have improved things, but initially the game was horribly optimized.
