Mine is 57 degree C in bios and the laptop feels so hot. Should I worry?

Forgot to mention that it is a DELL 15r 5520 and the fan is noisy.

It is running ubuntu actually and I can't get an accurate reading. It just feels hot in the middle and the fan is always running at max speed. I am also using it on a desk so the ciculation should be fine. The bios should be measuring idle since there is nothing to do here.

The bottom feels so hot even while browsing actually. I don't feel comfortable with this.

Calm down and give us the temperatures first. Run a CPU stressing program and a CPU temperature monitoring program simultaneously.

As has already been suggested try running some stress tests and monitoring the temps but keep in mind mobile chips run a lot hotter than desktop cpus simply because they are shoehorned into tiny spaces with very limited cooling. That small fan you can hear is cooling the CPU,GPU (if you have discrete graphics), HDD, MOBO, RAM and everything else inside your laptop.

I don't have time for tests unfortunately. I have 7670m but I don't know how to enable it.

Don't get worried about it just yet, although the fans at full speed from just internet browsing does seem like a concern that may need dealing with but first just give us temps on full load or doing a stress test

Is there nothing else running at the same time (while browsing). The cpu usage should be around 0-1% in task manager. You could check the gpu as well with occt or realtemp or many other utilities.

Its probably right since you're in Egypt and you'll just have to sit under a fan or get a table fan.

Edit- I just checked and the weather Cairo shouldn't be this hot this time of the year... hmm I don't know.

Those mobile chips are built to withstand heat. 105c means your CPUm will die soon.

Make sure you have backups. What temp room you using in.

A good temp is 70's or 80's c for the mobile chip.

Nothing in the background but I don't know which GPU is working 7670m/4000. Temp ranges from 45 to 60 C for the CPU. I will stress tonight.
