You should not really have to do anything. I have the P67A-G43 which is just one step above your motherboard and mine performed correctly at default settings.

If I remember i'll go home and take some screenshots of my BIOS settings.
Finally, someone who owns one and can actually see the UEFI.

So, I still have had no luck with the turbo boost issue. But I came across something interesting....When I clear CMOS turbo boost works for the duration of when my computer is on. But when I shut down and then start the pc back up, turbo charging no longer works. I monitor it with Intel Turbo Boost monitoring and cpu-z. Bad motherboard perhaps? :S I have an MSI P67A-C43

I using MSI Z68 B3 . I have turbo disabled yet it still turbos up when opening apps. Today it turboed up to 5.5 ghz several times. . Yet when I run a program It stays right at 4.5ghz . The setting I use . I now have my Cpu V core set at 1.35. The real Vcore is 1.344. and underload the Vcore now drops to 1.28v. and My turbo now goes higher even tho its not turned on it use to turbo to 5.2ghz now it turbos to 5.5ghz. I love these MSI M/Bs . This bios is great .

Thats great for you but that still doesn't help me with my Turbo boost issue, lol. I guess i'll have to buy a Z68 board to try and see how that works. Will my 2500k bottleneck my gpu? I have a XFX 6870 BE. If i upgrade to a gtx 590, will it bottle neck that if i dont OC my cpu?

well I gave up on worrying about it since it will turbo to 3.6 at least. plus I am going to oc it to 4.0 or so later and disable turbo anyway.

jayt101, I suggest you do the same and just disable turbo and go for a nice little oc.
