Core i5 2500k CPU temps

Howdy everyone. I just built my first self build this weekend. Everything seems to be running fine, but am a bit concerned about the CPU temps I am getting. They do not seem to be that high or alarming but a bit higher than what I expected. Nothing is overclocked, except for activating XMP in BIOS for the RAM.

Equipment:
Intel Core i5 2500k
Asus P8Z68 V Pro mobo
2 X 4 (8GB) Corsair Vengeance RAM 1600
Coolermaster Hyper 212+ CPU heatsink with one fan
Corsair 600T white case front 200mm fan, top 200mm fan, 120mm fan rear
Win7Pro
Ambient Room temperature about 25 C +/- a few degrees

In the BIOS at startup it reports around 44-45 C in either EZ mode or Advanced. In the AI software it reports around 36-38 at Idle. CoreTemp reports:
Core 0 - 29 C
Core 1 - 37 C
Core 2 - 29 C
Core 3 - 34 C

Running Prime95 torture test blend on all cores I get:
Core 0 - 50 C
Core 1 - 58 C
Core 2 - 54 C
Core 3 - 57 C

I admit I am a newbie. Are these temps ok? Is it normal to see a spread of 8-9 degrees between cores (Cores 0 and 2, and Cores 1 and 3 seem to track together)? Is it normal for a large gap from the BIOS to the software readings(AI suite and CoreTemp)? Possible motherboard issue that needs to be replaced or good enough? Take off CPU heatsink and remount needed?

I just want to confirm everything is running smoothly before I do any mild overclocks. Thanks.
