core 2 quad in Dell e6400 Laptop?

According to my research on google there hasn't been much talk or success with dropping a core 2 quad or extreme in an dell e6400. I was wondering if anyone here on this forum had successfully done it? Apparently the fastest cpu I can use is a core 2 duo t9800.
